Bayport Blue Point School District Holds Moving Up Ceremonies For 5th and 8th Graders

Bayport-Blue Point School Districts’ fifth- and eighth-graders participated in moving up ceremonies surrounded by family, friends, and members of the district’s administration.

Hosted at Bayport-Blue Point High School, the elementary ceremonies included music and video slideshows highlighting the fifth-graders journey through elementary school. At the middle school, eighth-graders performed songs and speeches reflecting on past and present memories and future aspirations of members of the class.

Each student walked across the stage to receive their moving up ceremonies as well as awards and honors.
