Bayport-Blue Point Grads Reunite 25 Years Later
Class of 1986 meets for food, drinks and catching up.
Nearly 75 members of Bayport-Blue Point High School's and their spouses attended their 25-year reunion at Grey Horse Tavern to eat drink and reminisce about old times.
The event was even a blast from the past for Grey Horse co-owner, Linda Ringhouse, who graduated from Bayport-Blue Point in 1985 and recognized former basketball teammates among the crowd.
"This is great for me because I always get to see a lot of local people, but this brings it to a whole new level," Ringhouse said of seeing the familiar faces.

The classmates last saw each other as a group in 2006, when their 20-year reunion was held, however, many smaller pockets of classmates have stayed in touch since graduation.
Such a friendly faction includes Steve Dolce and Matt Drake who took their wives and children to North Carolina for a trip a few years ago. Thier bond has remained though Dolce now lives in Florida.

Some classmates used their reunion as a mini-vacation, such as Kim Beebe who now lives in North Carolina.
"Its been a beach and girls weekend," Beebe said.
The 1986 classmates are slated to meet again for their 30-year reunion, but will they recognize each other?
If this year is any indication, then it'll be a toss up.
"Some people look exactly the same and some I don't recognize," Caroline (Westervett) Naluai said.
