B-BP Girls Track in Run for League Championship Today

The Phantoms have a division meet later this month and the county meet in early November.

On October 6, the Bayport Blue Point Girls XC team traveled to Schenectady to compete in the 74th Annual Grout Cross Country Invitational.

The Phantoms placed fourth overall on the 2.75 mile course, facing New York State talent from Cornwall, Guilderland and Colonie.  B-BP was led by Courtney Dooley(16.38), followed by Brianna Delzell (17.02), Taylor Darby (17.42), Sam Triani (17.52) and Cassie Dooley (17.54).

The Phantoms have claimed 26 consecutive dual meet victories in a row dating back to 2010 and will compete for the league championship against Mattituck today at Sunken Meadow.

B-BP is looking to be at full strength with senior standout Katie Saroka leading the Phantoms as they enter the championship portion of their season with the division meet scheduled for October 23, followed by the county meet on November 2.
