Elliot Named a Rising Star by LI Board of Realtors

Award cites excellence in sales, leadership and community involvement.

Sayville resident Bryn Elliot, who grew up in Blue Point, has been named one of the Young Professional Network’s “20 Under 40 Rising Stars' by the Long Island Board of Realtors. The announcement was made at the YPN’s second annual award ceremony held at the Fox Hollow restaurant in Woodbury.  

The 33-year-old has been working in real estate full time for nine years and has been with Douglas Elliman Real Estate for over three years.

YPN is an organization that helps young real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become successful in their career.

Twenty Long  Island and Queens real estate professionals 40 years of age or younger were chosen for excellence in the areas of sales, leadership, community involvement and have demonstrated ingenuity, creativity, and leadership in their careers.

Elliott, a licensed associate real estate broker, was cited for his creative marketing skills including creating individual websites for each of his listings and he even has his own YouTube channel.  In his company profile he talks about why technology is such a great tool in real estate.

”If you are not big on technology, it’s okay - that’s why you have me. I have earned the e-PRO certification, the only technology certification from the National Association of Realtors, and I make keeping up to date on the latest technologies a priority,” he states on the Elliman website.

He is extremely involved in the Bayport-Blue Chamber of Commerce as a board member and membership chairperson.  This, he says, has allowed him to stay connected with various events that happen in his area as well as the various local groups.  

Elliot was recognized by Long Island Business News as the Suffolk County Rising Star Residential Agent of the Year for 2012 and made his company's President Circle for 2012 for which he closed 33 transactions.
