Candidate Chooses Sayville Storefront for Campaign HQ

William Lindsay III says successful downtowns key to local economy.

William Lindsay III, who is running for the county legislative seat now held by his father, has rented the former Goddess storefront on South Main in Sayville as his campaign headquarters.

The rental agreement is from now through the November 15 election. Lindsay told Patch he chose the empty location for several reasons.

“I have always admired Sayville's beautiful downtown and I consider it to
be an important community within this great district. The success of our
downtowns is critical to our local economy," he stated in an email to Patch.

The campaign is planning an official open house event/campaign kickoff at 11 a.m. on August 3 and invites all residents to attend the grand opening of the office at 54 South Main Street.
