So, I guess my daughter is a figment of my imagination. Last I checked, she is a child of a new generation and Lord knows she didn't come from either mine or my hubands bellies. So there goes that theory. Homosexuals , as well as numerous heterosexuals, may not be able to physically have children, but we can love, nurture and care for those of straight people which are unwanted. SO far you have not come up with any good reason for being against gay marriage , other than the fact that you are a hating , discriminating, close minded fool who makes me feel so sad for you and the people who think like you. I am proud of who I am and what I have accomplished as a gay man and a gay father, and I will never let someone like yourself strip me of that. I pity you. But then again, you gave me tons of good times on here laughing at how small of a person you are. And hell...I don't even live in W. Islip, or anywhere near it. But I am glad to know that I didn't move there for a good reason- people like you.

Our country is in trouble and some cannot see it. If we allow politicians to run our lives then we better hang up all the laws we have and have people live and let live. We are not to far from that when we see people complain about everything and do nothing but sit back and then wonder why it happened. We are a nation of people that live and let live when changes are made that benifit society. Look at what is happining around us the turmoild in other lands who are looking for freedoms. If they live and let live they will still remain subservient to the master. No my friend we must voice our dismay whenever we can and let those in power know their time is short. that is the beauty of our democracy. A bill can be passed and an election can get rid of it.

I think you are taking the term "live and let live" wayyyy out of context. In reference to marriage equality, this law DOES NOT affect the heterosexuals in any way, therefor they should let "everyone else" live and let live because they're not doing any HARM to anyone, contrary to those dictators, and yes, those people should voice their desire for equal rights, just like the people in New York. But you can't compare marriage equallty to a tyrant, completely unrelated. There's no argument against marriage equality unless you really do not believe in equality for everyone

I don' t see my post added, what is up with that? When history, yes history, has recorded marriage as between one man and one woman in our country, it takes the biggest nerve to think you can just roll on in and change it. We have a country of very busy and sometimes apathetic patriots. They don't have the time and are very disengaged in the political debate these days, mostly because of being jaded by our elected ego maniacs in office. They throw up their hands and ask themselves why they bother. I understand their frustration but I don't get why they stop fighting???? I am a fighter, and for good reasons. The PC crowd would love if we all just rolled over and went away. The PC crowd has gotten pretty far betting on people's apathy and the fact that at the end of a long and busy work week they are just too darn tired to give a darn what their elected officials are scheming and the homosexual platform is aware of that too. Homosexuals can search for some other title and for some other legal way to protect their togetherness, but Marriage is taken, by those who fall under the auspices of marriage being between one man and one woman, stop trying to hijack it. It is downright obnoxious that I should be reading negative comments from the God haters in this land. We all know that our founding fathers built our freedoms based upon the law of God and based on the common good. There is no denying that creation is based upon the union of a male and a female, God help our future!
