Town Pick Up for Christmas Trees Set
Brookhaven town will pick up Christmas trees placed at the curb from Jan. 6-11.
The Town of Brookhaven will have curbside pick-up for Christmas trees beginning Jan. 6.
The trees, which will be chipped for mulch, must be free of ornaments, tinsel, lights and stand. According to the town, some of the trees will be used to slow beach erosion at Fire Island as well.
Pick-up will continue until Jan. 11. Artificial trees will not be picked up.
