Town of Islip Seeking Vendors for Popular Sayville Festival

Earth Friendly Vendors and Exhibitors Wanted for Earth Day Celebration

The Town of Islip, in cooperation with the Sayville Chamber of Commerce, will be sponsoring the 21st Annual Earth Day celebration in downtown Sayville on Saturday, April 30  with a rain date of Sunday, May 1. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vendors/Exhibitors with earth-friendly goods and/or services, and who have a current N.Y. State Tax Identification number, are encouraged to contact Danielle Wynn, Earth Day Coordinator, at 224-5650 to obtain an application for this day.  A $25.00 non-refundable fee is required and vendors will have to supply their own tables.  The deadline for applications is March 24, 2011.

Thousands of people are expected to attend this year’s celebration, which features performers, continuous live music, clowns, animal exhibits, educational workshops, displays/demonstrations and so much more.

In the event of inclement weather on both the scheduled days, the event will be cancelled.
