Tell Us: Will the Islip Town Board Remain All-Republican?

Get on The Soapbox and let us know.

With Election Day fast approaching, the campaigns for Islip Town Board seats are now in full gear.

Republicans currently hold all five seats on the board. Two of those seats are up for grabs in November.

Incumbents Steve Flotteron and Trish Bergin Weichbrodt are being challenged this year by Democrats Astrid Fidelia and George Hafele.

What's your take? Are you happy with the current state of the Islip Town Board or is change needed?

Our new open blog, The Soapbox - Islip Gov't hopes to be the place where locals can debate these kinds of issues in town.
