The Port Authority of New York has moved to close off all of its airports, including JFK and LaGuardia, to incoming flights beginning at noon Saturday, the same time the Long Island Rail Road is to shut down. Those airports will remain open to departing flights until further notice, however numerous flights have already been cancelled so travellers should check with their airline.
