The Islip Farmer's Market
The Farmer's Market hosts an array of local vendors offering a variety of products from fresh fruits and vegetables to homemade goods. The market will take place every Saturday from now until November 28th in the main parking lot at Islip Town Hall, 655 Main Street, Islip.

The town sponsors several ‘brown bag’ concerts during the summer:

This event is co-sponsored by Bay Shore BID and Islip Arts Council. It will be held at Bay Shore Band Shell, Dr. King Park on Main Street in Bay Shore.

Islip Arts Council Annual Free Concert in the Park
Free Symphony Concert
The Islip Arts Council will be hosting a free concert at Hecksher State Park in East Islip at 8 pm on July 13. This concert will feature the Atlantic Wind Symphony and Swingtime Big Band. There will also be fireworks, provided by Grucci. The Islip Arts Council, in partnership with the United Way of Long Island, will use a portion of the net proceeds from this event will be to help those recovering from Hurricane Sandy.
