UPDATE: Electronic Device Appears Mysteriously on Bayport Stop Sign

There's a camera-looking antenna and equipment box secured to bottom of sign.

The electronic device attached to one of the stop signs at the four-way stop at McConnell Road and Seaman Avenue in Bayport is a traffic monitoring device and not a 'red light' camera to catch drivers blowing stop signs.

Several Patch readers wrote in noting a YouTube video about the device.

But who put it there and why remains a mystery.

Patch gave a call to county officials and has not yet heard back.

Meanwhile Patch grabbed a few shots. The company listed on the electronics box is Miovision and calls to them were not immediately returned.

Stay turned as Patch hopes to solve this mystery soon.

It's a drive-through bank.

I heard it was a bank some time ago, but I can't imagine which bank would run a construction projectRead More so poorly.
