Brookhaven Sets Parking Fees For Holtsville Ecology Center

Fee schedule provides some perks for Brookhaven residents.

The Town of Brookhaven has instituted the following parking fee information for residents and non-residents who wish to visit the Holtsville Ecology Center this season:

  • $5 per car, per day for all visitors to the Ecology Center. This includes Brookhaven residents and non-residents alike.
  • A pro-rated yearly pass costing $10 per car is available for Brookhaven residents only. Residents will get a sticker affixed to their vehicle of choice and will allow for unlimited visits to the Center. The stickers expire on 12/31/2013. 
  • Brookhaven residents that are seniors, veterans or handicapped can purchase the yearly pass described above for a fee of $7. 
  • The yearly pass is ONLY available to Brookhaven residents.
The Holtsville Ecology Center has an animal preserve, hiking trails, tours and education programs, gardens and greenhouses, meeting rooms, a pool, picnic and playground area, Safety Town, and a compost site. It is located at 249 Buckley Road in Holtsville. Hours of operation are:
  • Weekdays: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Weekends (Seasonal) 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
