West Sayville Fire Department Responds to House Fire
Fire rages in house on Walnut Avenue in Bohemia.
The responded to a house fire at 505 Walnut Avenue in Bohemia Sunday night. It is unknown if anyone was in the house when the fire first started, but everyone was removed safely, according to those at the scene.
The fire was a fully involved gas fire in the attic of the house. According to reports, neighbors reported other houses on fire, but as of 10 p.m., all visible fire had been "knocked down."
Connetquot's Edward J. Bosti Elementary School on Bourne Boulevard was used as a waiting area for other crews and ambulances.
