UPDATED: Missing W. Sayville Man Found Unharmed

Update Monday 9:20 am: Fallon has been located unharmed, police said.

Original story:

A 73-year-old man went missing from an adult home in West Sayville Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police have issued a Silver Alert for Peter Fallon, who is mentally disabled and deaf.

Police said Fallon was last seen at 1 p.m. Sunday walking outside of his residence at the Maple Rest Home, located at 61 Rollstone Avenue in West Sayville.

Fallon is described as a white male, with short gray, blue eyes, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan-colored coat, camouflage pants, a tan trapper hat and moccasin-type slippers.

Anyone with information regarding Fallon’s location is asked to contact the Fifth Squad Detectives at 631-854-8552.

Fallon also went missing from the same adult home in 2011. He was found five days later at the old FAA site (now the West Sayville National Wildlife Refuge) off Cherry Avenue.

Yep....got the call around 1030pm...at first I was pissed the phone was ringing at 1030pm. If any member of my family went missing I would want that message to go out to every phone on earth. Glad they found him.
