Shed Fire in Bayport

Bayport Fire Department responds to a fire on Barrett Avenue.

responded to a call shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday reporting a shed fire on Barrett Avenue.

Nobody was injured in the blaze, which the fire department extinguished with several other local fire departments on hand for backup.

An emergency crew from LIPA also responded.

Community Ambulance Company was on the scene, but had no injuries to report.
