Sayville Crime Report: Prostitution Arrest, Burglary & Harassment Incidents

A list of recent police activity in Sayville and West Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

ARRESTS

May 3, 2012

Meghan Schaefer, of Sayville, was arrested in Central Islip and charged with prostitution.

April 30, 2012

Joseph Comiskey Jr., of Sayville, was arrested in Selden and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent.

Michael Krauss, of West Sayville, was arrested in West Islip and charged with grand larcey.

INCIDENTS

May 2, 2012

A West Main Street business reported that front windows were broken and criminal mischief was done to planters.

May 1, 2012

A female on Lakeland Avenue reported a harassment incident regarding a family member.

April 29, 2012

A Main Street, West Sayville resident reported an assault.

April 26, 2012

A Brook Street resident reported an incident of aggravated harassment via a phone.
