A list of recent police activity in Sayville and West Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding West Sayville and Sayville. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

ARRESTS

July 9, 2012

Matthew Martin, of Sayville, was arrested in Babylon and charged with identify theft.

Eric Monath, of West Sayville, was arrested in Patchogue and charged with criminal contempt.

Joanna Sadowska, of Oakdale, was arrested in West Sayville and charged with DWI.

July 8, 2012

Robert Oster, of Sayville, was arrested in East Patchogue and charged with DWI.

Michael Mulhare, of East Islip, was arrested in Sayville and charged with DWI.

July 7, 2012

Michael Penning was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

July 6, 2012

Samuel Jones was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

July 5, 2012

Amy Ciapetta, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Sayville and charged with harassment the second degree.

July 4, 2012

Peter Cheviot, of Sayville, was arrested in Sayville and charged with DWI and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Thomas Jr. Gair, of Holbrook, was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

Jonathan Hubbard, of Wading River, was arrested in Sayville and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a BAC level of .08 percent.

Anthony Dorio, of Coram, was arrested in Sayville and charged with obstruction of government administration.

A Cherry Avenue resident reported an incident of harassment.

A Middle Road, Sayville resident reported an incident of harassment.

July 6, 2012

Grand larceny was reported at the Sayville Train Station.

July 5, 2012

A robbery was reported on Loop Drive in Sayville.

Criminal mischief to a car was reported on Lakeland Avenue.

Most of th epeople do not LIVE in Sayville--they were just arrested there.......

Hi Clare, Yes the blotter reflects arrests made in Sayville and those who live in Sayville. It's a good thing most of them weren't from Sayville right :)
