Sayville Crime Report: Robbery, DWI & Drug Charges

A list of recent police activity in West Sayville and Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

ARRESTS

November 18, 2012

Jacob Miles, of Sayville, was arrested in Patchogue and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree.

November 17, 2012

Morall Jones, of West Sayville, was arrested in Hauppauge and charged with DWI first offense.

November 16, 2012

Kurt Deon, of Southampton, was arrested in Sayville and charged with loitering and unlawful use of a controlled substance.

Lawrence Piniella, of Sayville, was arrested in Sayville and charged with robbery in the third degree.

Davon Delvalle, of Riverhead, was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

November 15, 2012

Stanley Dudek, of  Sayville, was arrested in Central Islip and charged with petit larceny.

Jacklyn Manno, of Sayville, was arrested in Sayville and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

November 12, 2012

Antonio II Centeno, of Sayville, was arrested in Sayville and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury.

Dominick Patrizi III of Sayville was arrested in Sayville and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

INCIDENTS

November 17, 2012

A robbery was reported on Overton Street in Sayville and a purse was taken.

November 15, 2012

A Candee Avenue resident reported an apartment was broken into.

And so the taxpayer is once again asked to give more to an already out of control and bloatedRead More system. Every year the school districts on Long Island receive increases of millions of dollars to their budgets, and still they want to bleed the taxpayer for more. As two income families struggle to pay exorbitant tax bills, we’re asked to pay even more? We’ll here’s a novel idea, how about if the teachers union’s began demanding less? This early retirement baloney must stop, salaries should be capped, administrators and their staffs must be cut by at least eighty percent. In addition, educators and staff should have to pay for their own medical and retirement plans just as the rest of us must. Here on Long Island, families are suffering and sacrificing, and many are being forced to leave due to taxes which are out of control. It is time for educators to cease hiding behind children with threats of decreased student programs, and to make an honest and realistic observation as to why things are as bad as they are. To blame parents for not paying enough into the system to support the schools is ludicrous. The real problem lies in a system which is self serving, and run by incompetents blind to the harm they are inflicting upon our children and families.
