Sayville Crime Report: DWI, Pot Arrest & Harassment Incidents

A list of recent police activity in West Sayville and Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

ARRESTS

October 27, 2012

Philip Inoue, of Sayville, was arrested in Blue Point and charged with DWI.

October 25, 2012

Carly Adesso, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested in Sayville and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.

INCIDENTS

October 28, 2012

A West Sayville man was arrested in Patchogue for disorderly conduct.

October 27, 2012

A Cherry Avenue, West Sayville resident reported a wallet stolen.

October 25, 2012

A stolen pocketbook was found on a front lawn on Foster Avenue.

October 24, 2012

A neighbor dispute involving an harassment incident was reported on Sejon Drive.

October 23, 2012

An harassment incident and criminal mischief was reported on Rollstone Avenue in West Sayville.

And so the taxpayer is once again asked to give more to an already out of control and bloatedRead More system. Every year the school districts on Long Island receive increases of millions of dollars to their budgets, and still they want to bleed the taxpayer for more. As two income families struggle to pay exorbitant tax bills, we’re asked to pay even more? We’ll here’s a novel idea, how about if the teachers union’s began demanding less? This early retirement baloney must stop, salaries should be capped, administrators and their staffs must be cut by at least eighty percent. In addition, educators and staff should have to pay for their own medical and retirement plans just as the rest of us must. Here on Long Island, families are suffering and sacrificing, and many are being forced to leave due to taxes which are out of control. It is time for educators to cease hiding behind children with threats of decreased student programs, and to make an honest and realistic observation as to why things are as bad as they are. To blame parents for not paying enough into the system to support the schools is ludicrous. The real problem lies in a system which is self serving, and run by incompetents blind to the harm they are inflicting upon our children and families.
