Sayville Crime Report: Serious Drug Arrests

A list of recent police activity in Sayville and West Sayville as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's media incidents list regarding Sayville. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests

  • Brian Ferraioli from East Islip was arrested in Sayville on March 14 on a charge of criminal obstruction of breathing.
  • On March 14, Frank Alfo from Bayport was arrested in Sayville on a charge of driving a motor vehicle impaired by drugs.
  • John Stevenson from Sayville was arrested in Mastic on March 14 on a charge of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs.
  • On March 15, Kira Holtegaard from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Brentwood resident Dwight Parker was arrested in Sayville on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on March 15.
  • Sayville resident John Wall was arrested in Patchogue on a charge of driving while intoxicated on March 16.

  • On March 17, Phillip Poitras from East Islip was arrested in Sayville on charges of operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • Jasheem Pulley from Amityville was arrested in Sayville on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance on March 17.
  • Gorden Heights resident Tahsahn Hinton was arrested in Sayville on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance on March 18.
  • On March 18, Christian Freund from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Incidents

  • On March 10, police were alerted of an incident of harassment on Overton Street in Sayville at 7:40 p.m.
  • An incident of criminal mischief on Overton Street in Sayville was reported to police on March 11 at 1 p.m.
  • At 10 p.m., police were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on Cliff Ave in Sayville on March 14.
  • Main Street residents in West Sayville reported an incident of harassment to police on March 14 at 7 p.m.
