The Sayville Congregational United Church of Christ will hold a community prayer service at 7 p.m. tonight for the victims of today's shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut.
All are welcome and the church is located at 131 Middle Road in Sayville. Worship leaders and musicians who wish to participate should contact the pastor at pastorgary@sayvilleucc.org.
According to an Associated Press report published by Newsday, 27 were killed early Friday morning at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, including the shooter.
