$5,000 reward for helping find man who tried to rob Walgreens for drugs.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for help in nabbing a man who tried to rob the Walgreens Pharmacy on North Main Street in Sayville late in February.

According to Suffolk Police, a white male in his late 30s to early 40s entered the store about 2:45 p.m. on February 21 and handed a note to a pharmacist demanding controlled substances.

The suspect fled out the front door empty handed after a pharmacist did not comply with his demands.
