LJ Gillette provides on the scene look at the firefighting effort at the French restaurant earlier this week.
Firefighters from several community fire departments, including Bayport, Blue Point, Sayville, West Sayville and Patchogue responded to the 2 a.m. call Friday of smoke pouring from Le Soir, a well-known French eatery at the corner of Montauk Highway and Bayport Avenue in Bayport. The word on the street is that the restaurant is already under repair and will be rebuilt. Patch will have an update early next week.
