No One Seriously Hurt in Sayville Crash

Car flips after running into bus, according to police.

No one was seriously hurt early Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Railroad Avenue in Sayville, according to Suffolk Police.

A Colonial Transportation bus was pulling out of the business' parking lot, just south of the train crossing on the west side of the street. when it was struck by a 1999 Infiniti heading southbound on Railroad just south of the track crossing. Upon impact the Infiniti overturned.

The car's driver, Scott Perricone, 45, of Coram was taken to Southside Hospital for minor injuries and was cited for unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

The bus driver, Karl Ott, 40, of Sayville was not injured, according to police.
