Country Village Pharmacy robbed Tuesday afternoon.
An armed man robbed an East Islip pharmacy on Tuesday, police said.
Police said the man armed with a gun entered Country Village Pharmacy, located at 242 East Main St., and announced a robbery and demanded prescription medication at around 3:55 p.m.

The employees complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of medication, police said. The employees were not injured.

The robber was described as white, approximately 25 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-10, with a thin mustache. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark-hooded sweatshirt and a red bandana around the lower part of his face at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to the Third Squad at 631-854-8352 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
