Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Sayville Man
Alfred Zollo, 64, dies in crash late Saturday night.
A 64-year-old Sayville man was killed late Saturday night when his motorcycle crashed on Montauk Highway, police said.
Alfred Zollo was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson westbound near South Street in Sayville around 10:53 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle, police said.
Zollo's motorcycle crossed over into the eastbound lane before crashing. A police spokeswoman told Patch that Zollo "wiped out" and did not crash into anything in particular.

Zollo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
