Men Arrested in Sayville for Running Prostitution Business

One arrest took place at Sayville Motor Lodge.

Two men allegedly operating a prostitution business from Sayville have been arrested and one is facing a felony charge, according to Suffolk Police.

David Cooper, 25, and Kempes Denis, 33, both of Wyandanch, were arrested on March 19, according to police. Cooper was arrested at the Sayville Motor Lodge on Sunrise Highway, according to a police report.

According to police Cooper ran a prostitution business with two or more prostitutes and was charged in relation to a prostitution incident in Lindenhurst between January 1 and January 21. He was arraigned on one count of running a prostitution business, a D felony, and is due back in First District Court on May 20.

Kempes was arrested in relation to prostitution activity between January 19 and March 19, according to police. Specific charges, location of his arrest and next court appearance information was not available as of press time.
