Massapequa Crime Report: Grand Larcenies of Jewelry

Nov 29 to Dec. 18.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Grand Larceny

On Nov. 29 , jewelry was reported missing from a home on Southgate Drive, police said. The jewels were removed sometime in November.

On Dec. 16, Earings were stolen from the Piercing Pagoda at the Wesfield Sunrise Mall. The thefts occurred shortly after 11 p.m.

On Dec. 11, Tymell Billinger, 19, of Lindenhurst, was arrested for allegedly stealing cash from a register at Kohl's located at 5400 Sunrise Highway.

Vehicle Related Incidents

On Dec. 15, side view mirrors were taken from a car parked on North Linden Street in North Massapequa, police said.

On Dec. 10, The brake lines were cut on a vehicle parked on Jefferson Street, police said.

Petty Larceny

On Dec. 12, cooking oil was taken from Phil's Pizza on Sunrise Highway, police said.

On Dec. 11, appliances were removed from a driveway on Division Avenue, police said.
