Police: Ice Cream Man Fondled 11-Year-Old Girl

A Queens man is accused of sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl last month while she was making a purchase at his ice cream truck in Wyandanch, police said. 

According to police, Muhammad Chaudhry, 63, was operating his ice cream truck in Wyandanch on May 21 shortly before 7:30 p.m. when the girl approached the truck. 

During the ensuing transaction, Chaudhry fondled the child, police said.

Cops: Former Massapequa Students Threatened School on Facebook

Two former Massapequa High School students were charged with writing threats directed toward the school on Facebook, according to Nassau County Police.

Detectives said a concerned parent discovered threatening comments on Facebook from two former students and called one of the school's deans.

The district immediately reported the incident to Nassau Police, who charged former students Richard Delpesce, 17, of Seaford, and Corinne Terris, 19, of Massapequa, cops said.

Police: Serial Bank Robber Has Now Struck 6 Times

A suspected serial bank robber has robbed three more banks in Suffolk County just this week, according to police. 

The latest robbery occurred in North Lindenhurst on Thursday. Police say that robbery at a Citibank on Sunrise Highway "appears consistent" with other bank robberies over the last two weeks. 

Police: Bayport Man Hospitalized After Burglary, 4 Arrested

Four men were arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with a burglary at a Bayport residence that left the homeowner hospitalized, police said. 

According to police, two men confronted a man inside his home on Bayview Avenue at about 12:25 p.m. 

The men assaulted the victim and stole cash and jewelry before fleeing on foot, police said. 

Massapequa Woman Accused of Sexually Abusing a Second Queens High School Student

A Queens high school teacher from Massapequa has been accused of sexually abusing a second student, according to multiple sources.

Joy Morsi, 39, faces additional charges after Grover Cleveland High School students revealed shemay have abused a second victim, police told NBC.

Morsi was arraigned earlier this week on 20 counts each of third-degree rape and third-degree criminal sexual act as well as one count of child endangerment.

Authorities found out about the first victim after he told his friend,who then told her parents, who made the report, according to WABC.

Teen Guilty in High Speed Crash That Killed 4 of His Friends

A Queens man was found guilty in a high speed car crash that killed four of his friends, according to the Nassau County District Attorney's office.

A jury deliberated four days before convicting Joseph Beer, 19, of four counts of second-degree manslaughter, second-degree reckless endangerment, and reckless driving.

The jury was unable to return a verdict on charges of first-degree aggravated vehicular homicide, first-degree vehicular manslaughter, four counts of second-degree vehicular manslaughter, and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.

Police: 3 Arrested on Drug Charges on Sunrise Highway

Three people were arrested Thursday night on felony drug charges following a traffic stop on Sunrise Highway in East Quogue, according to State Police. 

Police responded to a call of an erratic vehicle traveling eastbound on Sunrise Highway near County Rt. 104 at about 11 p.m., police said. 

When troopers located the vehicle, the driver was not staying in one lane and a traffic stop was initiated, police said.

Police: Port Jeff Station Man Had $5.5K Worth of Heroin in Apartment

A Port Jefferson Station man faces multiple drug-related charges after a search warrant was executed at his home on Ontario Street Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers seized more than 17 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $5,500 and drug paraphernalia from a basement apartment at 73 Ontario Street at 4:30 p.m, police said. 

Police: Man Robs Oceanside Bank, Flees in Taxi

A man robbed an Astoria Bank in Oceanside on Friday afternoon, police said. 

According to police, the man pictured above entered the bank at 3535 Long Beach Road at 1:20 p.m. and handed a female teller a note demanding cash. 

The teller complied and the robber fled with an unknown amount of cash into a waiting taxi, which dropped him off at Clive Avenue in Oceanside, police said. 

Police: Hicksville Man Posed as Doctor to Get Painkillers

A Hicksville man was arraigned at First District Court Thursday after being arrested for impersonating a doctor to get the powerful painkillers oxycodone and Xanax, police said. 

Adeel Riaz, 28, was arrested in his home on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., and was charged with 16 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, 15 counts of identity theft in the second degree and 9 counts of criminal impersonation in the first degree. 

Sex Offender Sentenced for Syosset Warehouse Attack

A Freeport man was sentenced Friday for molesting a 20-year-old man in a Syosset warehouse in 2013.

Alfred Balcerak, 55, had pleaded guilty in January to first-degree attempted sexual abuse, according to the Nassau County District Attorney’s office. Prosecutors said that on May 21, 2013, Balcerak molested the 20-year-old by pulling his pants down and fondling his genitals.
