Irene Brings Big Winds, Little Rain to Sayville

Hurricane's wrath is one of intense wind Sunday morning. The rain is more like a summer storm so far.

The first Sayville Fire Department siren heard in two days went off about 7:30 a.m. Sunday as Irene's winds kicked in hard. Trucks returned shortly after but house lights on Lincoln Avenue have been flickering and threatening to stay off.
