A 32-foot boat with five passengers traveling from Patchogue to Brightwaters in the Great South Bay crashed just after midnight.

Suffolk County Police Department's Marine Bureau responded to a call early Friday morning in which a 32-foot boat heading westbound from Patchogue to Brightwaters in the Great South Bay crashed in Bayport against the easternmost jetty in Browns River.

According to a police spokesperson, two of the five passengers on board were taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where they were treated for minor injuries. The other three passengers were not injured.
