Crime Report: Six Arrests Made

Recent police activity in the area as reported by the Fifth Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests:

  • On Nov. 4, Funda Bilgin from Nesconset was arrested in Sayville for unlawful sale of alcohol to a minor.
  • On Nov. 5, Timothy Groening from West Sayville was arrested in Sayville for harassment.
  • On Nov. 6, Chad Tirico from East Patchogue was arrested in Sayville for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • On Nov. 6, Effrain Ramos Jr. from East Patchogue was arrested in Sayville for DWI.
  • On Nov. 7, Jason Juntunen from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for possession of burglar tools and grand larceny.
  • On Nov. 9, Amanda Cervini from Sayville was arrested in Gordon Heights for DWI.

Incidents:

  • On Nov. 1, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Benson Avenue in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 5, an incident of harassment was reported on Montauk Highway in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 5, an incident of harassment was reported on Montauk Highway in West Sayville.
  • On Nov. 6, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 7, an incident of grand larceny was reported on Gillette Avenue in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 8, an incident of harassment was reported on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 8, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Browns River Road in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 8, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street in Sayville.
