Crime Report: Petit Larceny, DWI's and Criminal Mischief

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Arrests

  • Thomas Crowley from Blue Point was arrested in Sayville on a charge of driving while intoxicated on May 12.
  • On May 12, Alan Barton from Bayport was arrested in Central Islip for criminal possession of stolen property.
  • Manorville resident Pat Vassallo was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated on May 14.
  • Anthony Ciaramella from Riverhead was arrested in Bayport on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs on May 14.
  • On May 16, Yuanlin Zhang from Flushing was arrested in Blue Point for unauthorized practice of profession.
  • On the same day, Yawei Xin from Flushing was also arrested in Blue Point for unauthorized practice of profession.
  • Gianmichael Parente from Blue Point was arrested in Brookhaven for petit larceny on May 16.
  • Blue Point resident Michael Hackett was arrested in Sayville for petit larceny on May 17.
  • On the same day, Stephen Gallo from Blue Point was arrested in Patchogue for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • Marta Ramon from Blue Point was arrested in Patchogue for failure to exercise control of a minor on May 18.
  • Bayport resident Kellie Barone was arrested in Patchogue for possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of stolen property on May 18.

  • On May 12, an incident of criminal mischief on Terrace Road in Bayport was reported to police at 8 p.m.
  • Eatondale Avenue residents in Blue Point alerted police of an incident of harassment at 9 a.m. on May 15.
  • Police were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on Atlantic Avenue in Blue Point at 3:30 p.m. on May 18.
