Crime Report: One Arrest, Five Incidents
A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.
This information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All defendant are innocent until proven guilty. Complaints listed are alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests
- On Jan. 5, a female from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for driving while intoxicated.

- At 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve, police were alerted to an incident of criminal michief to a vehicle on S. Snedecor Avenue in Bayport.
- There was an incident of aggravated harassment on Morgan Lane in Bayport at 10 p.m. on Jan. 7.
- Police were notified of an incident of harassment at Bayport- Blue Point High School in Bayport at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 7, involving security guards.
- On New Year's Eve at 11 p.m., police received a call about an assault on Montauk Highway in Blue Point.
- An incident of grand larceny was reported to police on Jan. 5 at 1 a.m. on Montauk Highway in Blue Point.
