Crime Report: Nine Arrests, Two Incidents
A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the Fifth Precinct.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- Joseph Tommasino from Bayport was arrested in Holbrook for petit larceny on April 4.
- On April 6, David Spotteck from Bayport was arrested in Blue Point for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Yaphank resident Vito Ilardi was arrested in Blue Point on April 6 for exposure of a person.
- On April 7, Andrew Francino from Blue Point was arrested in Blue Point for criminal contempt of court.
- Joseph Witt from Blue Point was arrested in Blue Point on April 10 for driving while intoxicated.
- Andrew White from Bayport was arrested in Patchogue for driving while intoxicated on April 10.
- On April 12, Michael Hackett from Blue Point was arrested in Sayville for harassment.
- Sayville resident Lisa Vocht was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated on April 12.
- On April 13, James Alles from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for robbery.

- An incident of criminal mischief on 1st Street in Bayport was reported to police on April 9 at 7 p.m.
- On April 13, police were notified of an incident of harassment on Purick Street in Bayport at 8:30 a.m.
