A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- On March 22, Joseph Geha from Patchogue was arrested in Bayport for aggravated harassment.
- Michael Epsky from Patchogue was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated on March 23.
- On March 23, Mark Rucker from Patchogue was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated.
- Blue Point resident Russel Lauper was arrested in Islandia for lewdness and exposing his body in public on March 25.
- Rudolf Hartill from Richmond Hill was arrested in Blue Point for aggravated harassment on March 26.
- Bayport resident John Smith was arrested in Bayport for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle on March 26.
- Cassandra Macdonald from Bohemia was arrested in Bayport for driving while intoxicated on March 27.
- On March 27, Michael Evans from Holtsville was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated.
- Edward Campbell from Blue Point was arrested in Shirley for operating a motor vehicle while impaired and possession of a controlled substance on March 28.
