Crime Report: Four Arrests Reported This Week
Recent police activity in the area as reported by the 5th Precinct.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests:
- On Jan. 25, Elliot Yates from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- On Jan. 27, Eric Hovanec from Sayville was arrested in Holbrook for unlawful possession of marijuana.
- On Jan. 31, Rebecca Elliott from Sayville was arrested in Holbrook for DWI.
- On Jan. 31, Stanley Bildzukewicz from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville for harassment.

- On Jan. 28, an incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Sunrise Highway un Sayville.
- On Jan. 29, an incident of harassment was reported on Tariff Street.
- On Jan. 29, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Hiddink Street in Sayville.
- On Jan. 29, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Washington Avenue in West Sayville.
- On Jan. 31, an incident of harassment was reported on Willett Avenue in Sayville.
- On Jan. 31, an incident of harassment was reported on Atlantic Avenue in West Sayville.
