Crime Report: Five Arrests Reported in Sayville

Recent police activity in the area as reported by the Fifth Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrests:

  • On Nov. 16, John Antoine from West Sayville was arrested in Ronkonkoma for criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weaon.
  • On Nov. 16, Craig Schiavoni from West Sayville was arrested in Farmingville for unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • On Nov. 17, John Antoine from West Sayville was arrested in Smithtown for falsely reporting a fire.
  • On Nov. 19, Francis Russo Jr. from Oakdale was arrested in Sayville for DWI.
  • On Nov. 22, Jason Diadema from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal contempt.

  • On Nov. 6, an incident of grand larceny was reported on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 13, an incident of burglary was reported on Cherry Avenue in West Sayville.
  • On Nov. 14, an incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Jay Court in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 16, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Terry Road in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 17, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 18, an incident of harassment was reported on Astor Drive in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 19, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on West Main Street in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 19, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Montauk Highway in Sayville.
  • On Nov. 19, an incident of harassment was reported on Cherry Avenue in West Sayville.
  • On Nov. 20, an incident of burglary was reported on Chester Road in Sayville.
