Crime Report: Drug-Related Arrests, Larceny and Harassment

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

This information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. Complaints listed are alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests

  • On Nov. 7, Nicholas Mougios from Bayport was arrested in Blue Point for driving under the influence of drugs.
  • Blue Point resident Henry Fogelman was arrested in Huntington on Nov. 8 for false personation, grand larceny and forgery.
  • On Nov. 10, Justin Felice from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for harassment.
  • Aristides Martinez from Bay Shore was arrested in Bayport for criminal contempt on Nov. 10.
  • On Nov. 11, Eric Reed from Bayport was arrested in Bayport for leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries.
  • Anthony Milone from Bohemia was arrested in Blue Point for intent to sell drugs on Nov. 11.
  • On Nov. 11, David Acree from Amityville was arrested in Blue Point for driving without a license.
  • Matthew Omara from Islip Terrace was arrested in Bayport on Nov. 13 for driving while intoxicated.

  • On Nov. 7 at 4 a.m., police were alerted of criminal mischief on Middle Road in Bayport.
  • At 2 p.m. on Nov. 7, a burglary was reported on Montauk Highway in Bayport.
  • Police were notified of an incident of aggravated harassment on Sylvan Avenue in Bayport on Nov. 8 at 11 p.m.
  • At 2 p.m. on Nov. 10, a resident reported an incident of harassment on Kaywood Court in Bayport.
  • On Nov. 11 at 8 a.m., police were informed of a purse robbery in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Montauk Highway in Bayport.
  • At 1 p.m. on Nov. 12, police were alerted of an incident of harassment on McConnell Avenue in Bayport.
