Crime Report: Drug and DWI Charges, Assault Incident
A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
Arrests
- Christine Durant from Mastic Beach was arrested in Bayport on Sept. 17 on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
- On Sept. 17, Jose Estrada from East Moriches was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
- Bayport resident Peter Blandeburgo was arrested in Holbrook on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument on Sept. 18.
- On Sept. 21, Shera Dougherty from Bayport was arrested in Bayport on a charge of criminal contempt.
- John Munoz from Bay Shore was arrested in Bayport on Sept. 22 on a charge of criminal mischief.
- Bay Shore resident Jamie Suriano was arrested in Bayport on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Sept. 24.

- On Sept. 18, police were notified of an incident of harassment on Terrace Road in Bayport around 2 p.m.
- Police were alerted of an incident of assault on Terrace Road in Bayport on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.
