Crime Report: Disorderly Conduct, Larceny

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Arrests

  • Michael Fountaine from Sayville was arrested in Bayport on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Oct. 15.
  • On Oct. 15, Dayna Erickson from Medford was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • Joseph Tosini from Shoreham was arrested in Blue Point for disorderly conduct on Oct. 16 along with Jaavel McCrae from Ridge, Timothy Giuffrida from Brooklyn, Brian Donovan from Medford and Jason Donovan from Medford.
  • Bohemia resident Thomas Maurer was arrested in Bayport on Oct. 16 on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
  • On Oct. 20, Nicole Valerius from Blue Point was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Incidents

  • Police were alerted of an incident of harassment on Ira Avenue in Bayport on Oct. 16.
  • On Oct. 16, an incident of petit larceny was reported to police on Montauk Highway in Blue Point at 3 a.m.
  • Oakwood Street residents in Blue Point notified police of an incident of aggravated harassment on Oct. 17 at noon.
  • Police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on Brook Avenue in Blue Point on  Oct. 18 at 7:30 a.m.
  • On the same day, a burglary was reported to police on Norwood Drive in Blue Point at 7 a.m.
  • On Oct. 18, Woodland Street residents in Blue Point alerted police of an incident of criminal mischief at 6 p.m.
  • Police were notified of an incident of grand larceny on Blue Point Avenue in Blue Point at 6 p.m. on Oct. 20.
