Crime Report: Trespass, Larceny, Drug Arrests

A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Arrests

  • Kadeem Bruney from Ossining was arrested in Blue Point on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Nov. 19.
  • Blue Point resident Norman Nixon was arrested in Patchogue on a charge of driving while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs on Nov. 24.
  • On Nov. 24, on charges of criminal trespass and petit larceny.
  • JohnPaul Daleo from Bayport was arrested in Blue Point on Nov. 25 on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana.

Incidents

  • On Nov. 19, Suydam Lane residents in Bayport reported an incident of harassment at 12:25 a.m.
  • An incident of burglary on Oak Road in Bayport was reported to police on Nov. 21 at 12 p.m.
  • Police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on Fairview Avenue in Bayport on Nov. 21 at 5 a.m.
  • At 8 p.m. on Nov. 25, police were notified of an incident of criminal mischief on Nicholls Road in Bayport.
