Crime Report: Burglaries and Grand Larceny

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport-Blue Point. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. 

Arrests

• Kenji Brown from Medford was arrested in Blue Point on Oct. 31 on a charge of trespass.
• On Nov. 2, Travis Forssell from Patchogue was arrested in Bayport on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Bay Shore resident Joanna Rojas was arrested in Bayport on a charge of burglary on Nov. 3.
• Jagir Singh from Hicksville was arrested in Bayport on charges of selling tobacco to a minor and on Nov. 4.

Incidents

• On Oct. 29, an incident of grand larceny was reported to police at 11 p.m. on Bayview Avenue in Bayport.
• Bayport Avenue in Bayport residents alerted police of an incident of criminal mischief to their vehicle at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 30.
• An incident of harassment on Montauk Highway in Bayport was reported to police  on Oct. 31 at 8 p.m.
• Police were alerted of an incident of harassment on Montauk Highway in Blue Point on Nov. 2 at 2:30 a.m.
• On Nov. 4 at 6 a.m., South Fairview Avenue residents in Bayport notified police of burglary.
• On the same day, an incident of grand larceny on Montauk Highway in Bayport was reported to police at 3 a.m.
• Another burglary was reported to police on Nov. 4. This time it was on Atlantic Avenue in Blue Point at 9:30 a.m.
