Crime Report: Burglaries and DWIs
A list of recent police activity in Bayport and Blue Point as reported by the 5th Precinct.
This information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Bayport and Blue Point. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. Complaints listed are alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests
- William Fumai from Bayport was arrested in Holbrook for driving while intoxicated on Dec. 15.
- On Dec. 13, Colin Richardson from Blue Point was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated.
- Sayville resident Anthony Angelo was arrested in Blue Point for criminal mischief on Dec. 16.
- Daniel Morgan from Blue Point was arrested in Smithtown for possession of marijuana on Dec. 16.
- On Dec. 18, Stephen Billings from New York was arrested in Blue Point for driving while intoxicated.
Incidents

- On Dec. 11 at 10 p.m., police were alerted of an incident of criminal mischief on 1st Avenue in Bayport.
- Scott Street residents in Blue Point notified police of a burglary on Dec. 15 at noon.
- Another burglary was reported to police on Woodland Street in Blue Point on Dec. 17 at 4 p.m.
