Crime Report: Arrests Made for Possession and Robbery

Recent police activity in the area as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

ARRESTS

  • On July 30, Markell Alston from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of marijuana.
  • On July 30, Jamal Walker from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of marijuana.
  • On July 31, Anthony Federico from West Sayville was arrested in Central Islip for criminal possession of marijuana.
  • On Aug. 1, Allen Nelson from Sayville was arrested in Bay Shore for robbery and displaying a firearm.
  • On Aug. 1, Anthony Federico from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville for criminal contempt.
  • On Aug. 2, Theresa Barton from Farmingville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of stolen property.
  • On Aug. 4, Joseph Caliolo from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
  • On Aug. 5, Sage Ariasbrown from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of stolen property.
  • On Aug. 6, Alissa Licausi from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for disorderly conduct – language and gestures.
  • On Aug. 6, Reobert Meano from Bohemia was arrested in Sayville for disorderly conduct – fighting/violent behavior.
  • On Aug. 6, Marco Perez-Ramirez from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for disorderly conduct – refusing to move on.

    • On Aug. 5, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Edwards Street in Sayville.
