Crime Report: Arrests made for Possession and Criminal Mischief

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

ARRESTS

• On July 3, Douglas Martin from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for petit larceny.
• On July 5, Mark Delvalle from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for leaving the scene.
• On July 6, Daniel Mandriota from Bayport was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of a weapon.
• On July 7, Jacqueline Locher from Sayville was arrested in Bayport for DWAI – alcohol.
• On July 8, Jason Gillen from Hampton Bays was arrested in Sayville for possession of a hypodermic instrument.
• On July 8, Dennis Avery from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal mischief with the intent to damage property.

INCIDENTS

• On July 3, an incident of harassment was reported on Montauk Highway in West Sayville.
• On July 4, an incident of harassment was reported on Lumur Drive in Sayville.
• On July 4, an incident of assault was reported on Joseph Street in Sayville.
• On July 5, an incident of aggravated assault was reported on Broadway Avenue in Sayville.
• On July 5, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Terry Street in Sayville.
• On July 5, an incident of harassment was reported on Loop Drive in Sayville.
• On July 7, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Loop Drive.
• On July 7, an incident of petit larceny was reported on Main Street in Sayville.
• On July 8, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Lincoln Avenue in Sayville.
