Crime Report: Arrests Made for DWI and Possession

Recent police activity in the area as reported by the 5th Precinct.

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

ARRESTS

  • On July 18, Arcangel Soto from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for aggravated DWI.
  • On July 22, Theresa Gallagher from Sayville was arrested in Bellport for unlawful possession of marijuana.

  • On July 16, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Marion Street in Sayville.
  • On July 17, an incident of harassment was reported on Chester Road in Sayville.
  • On July 17, an incident of grand larceny was reported on Greely Avenue in Sayville.
  • On July 18, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Sunrise Drive in Sayville.
  • On July 18, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Johnson Avenue in Sayville.
  • On July 18, an incident of burglary was reported on Manton Street.
  • On July 19, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Lakeland Avenue in Sayville.
  • On July 19, an incident of harassment was reported on Astor Drive in Sayville.
  • On July 19, an incident of harassment was reported on Johnson Avenue in Sayville.
  • On July 21, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Hampton Street in Sayville.
  • On July 21, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Elm Street in Sayville.
  • On July 22, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street in Sayville.
