Crime Report: Arrests Made for DWI and Grand Larceny
Recent police activity in the area as reported by the 5th Precinct.
The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.
Arrests:
- On Jan. 20, Nicholas Avellino from Sayville was arrested in Sayville for criminal possession of marijuana.
- On Jan. 21, Rebecca Elliott from Sayville was arrested in Mastic Beach for bribery.
- On Jan. 22, Peter Lowry from West Sayville was arrested in Shirley for DWI.
- On Jan. 24, Keith Hill from Bohemia was arrested in Sayville for criminal mischief.
- On Jan. 24, Joseph Fatigate from Sayville was arrested in Kings Park for grand larceny.

- On Jan. 19, an incident of harassment on Railroad Avenue in Sayville.
- On Jan. 22, an incident of harassment was reported on Bevelander Place in West Sayville.
- On Jan. 23, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Handsome Avenue in Sayville.
- On Jan. 24, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Raft Avenue in Sayville.
