Crime Report: Arrests Made for Burglary and DWI

The following information is taken directly from the Suffolk County Police Department's Media Incidents list regarding Sayville and West Sayville. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests

• On Sept. 1, Joseph Aiello from Bellport was arrested in Sayville for petit larceny.
• On Sept. 2, Anthony Federico from West Sayville was arrested in Islip for fleeing a police officer, resisting arrest and criminal contempt.
• On Sept. 3, Timothy Groening from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville for petit larceny.
• On Sept. 4, Matthew Lanari from Patchogue was arrested in Sayville for petit larceny.
• On Sept. 4, Bryan Urena from Bellmore was arrested in Sayville for burglary.
• On Sept. 4, Key Martinex from Bellmore was arrested in Sayville for burglary.
• On Sept. 4, Gregory Beaudine from West Sayville was arrested in West Sayville for criminal mischief with intent to damage property.
• On Sept. 5, Joseph Damiano from Ronkonkoma was arrested in Sayville for DWI.
• On Sept. 5, John Roward from St. James was arrested in Sayville for DWI.
• On Sept. 5, Gary Mast from Shirley was arrested in Sayville for DWI.
• On Sept. 5, Erika Nilson from Sayville was arrested in Huntington for computer tampering.
• On Sept. 5, Kevin Atkinson from Bayport was arrested in West Sayville for SWI.
• On Sept. 6, James Shea Jr. from Islandia was arrested in Sayville for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

• On Aug. 30, an incident of harassment was reported on Overton Avenue in Sayville.
• On Aug. 30, an incident of grand larceny was reported on Karen Drive in Sayville.
• On Aug. 31, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on North Main Street in Sayville.
• On Aug. 31, an incident of burglary was reporter on Loop Drive in Sayville.
• On Sept. 1, an incident of aggravated harassment was reported on Sunrise Highway in Sayville.
• On Sept. 2, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Tyler Avenue in West Sayville.
• On Sept. 3, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Main Street in Sayville.
• On Sept. 3, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Collins Avenue in Sayville.
• On Sept. 3, an incident of harassment was reported on Sejon Drive in Sayville.
• On Sept. 4, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Lincoln Avenue in Sayville.
• On Sept. 4, an incident of robbery was reported on Greenbrier Lane in Sayville.
• On Sept. 4, an incident of criminal mischief was reported Bevelander Place in West Sayville.
• On Sept. 5, an incident of criminal mischief was reported on Forster Avenue in Sayville.
• On Sept. 5, an incident of harassment was reported on Locust Avenue in West Sayville.
